Camerata Bachiensis (DE)
Camerata Bachiensis was established in 2012. The following year, the ensemble was winner of the 1st prize at the Int. Telemann Competition in Magdeburg (D), at Premio Selìfa, Int. Early Music Competition in San Ginesio (IT) and was awarded the Gebrüder-Graun-prize at the Int. Graun Brothers Competition in Bad Liebenwerda (D). In 2014, the special prize Musica Antica da Camera was given to the group at the Int. Van Wassenaer Concours in Utrecht (NL), and in 2015, it is Rheinsberger Hofkapelle (ensemble in residence).
Camerata Bachiensis' repertoire consists mainly of 18th century church and chamber music written by Central German composers. Playing on original period instruments or detailed copies, the musicians focus on discovering and performing forgotten or unknown music.
The ensemble gave concerts at important Early Music festivals, like Bachfest Leipzig, Thüringer Bachwochen, Telemann-Festtage, Graun-Festtage, Oude Muziek Festival Utrecht (fringe) and other venues in Germany, Italy and Poland.

Monday, January 18, 2021 The Dresden office of RISM Germany commenced a project in December 2020 to catalog the music manuscripts in the Rostock University Library (D-ROu). The collection comprises ca. 950 manuscripts from the 16th to 19th centuries. The first batch of manuscripts that arrived in Dresden for cataloging contains the music collection of Crown Prince Friedrich Ludwig of Württemberg-Stuttgart (1698-1731) and his daughter, Duchess Luise Friederike of Mecklenburg-Schwerin (1722-1791). Manuscript copies of parts for instrumental chamber music can be traced back to the collecting activities of the Crown Prince himself. The collection includes pieces by composers such as Sebastian Bodinus, Giuseppe Brescianello, Johann Jacob Krebs, Johann Christoph Pez, Theodor Schwartzkopff, Johann Friedrich Fasch, Johann Joseph Fux, Johann Adolph Hasse, Johann David Heinichen, and Georg Philipp Telemann.
