Sir Kenneth Branagh (born 10 December 1960) is a Britishactor, movie director and television producer. He played Hamlet. He has directed and acted in many Shakespeare adaptations. He has acted alongside popular actors including: Emma Thompson, Keanu Reeves, Michael Keaton, Maggie Smith and Alan Rickman. He is also known as Director and star for his Hercule Poirt film adaptations.

Since Richard Attenborough's death in August 2014, Branagh has been the president of the Royal Academy of the Dramatic Arts in London.

Sir Kenneth Charles Branagh (BRAN-ə; born 10 December 1960) is a British actor and filmmaker. Born in Belfast and raised primarily in Reading, Berkshire, Branagh trained at RADA in London and served as its president from 2015 to 2024. His accolades include an Academy Award, four BAFTAs, two Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and an Olivier Award. He was appointed a Knight Bachelor in 2012,[1] and was given Freedom of the City in his native Belfast in 2018.[2] In 2020, he was ranked in 20th place on The Irish Times's lis

Sooo.... lashings of apologies that this entertaining bio has not been kept up (altough I have done my best with the Fact Sheet and the Awards. It's not like there haven't been a further six years of excitement in KB's life, but somehow I haven't been able to fit the prose in (apart from not being half as amusing as our Ngoc!).
