With a background in both literature and printing, the next logical step for Aliyyah Eniath was publishing. The result? Caribbean BELLE and its offshoot, Caribbean Belle WEDDINGS, two of the most successful regional magazines to come out of Trinidad and Tobago.

The magazines, as well as the woman in charge of them, speak volumes for quality and style as seen by the recognition of the Caribbean Advertising Federation (CAF). Caribbean Belle WEDDINGS won Gold for Best Overall Magazine Design at the CAF ADDY Awards 2014, while, Caribbean BELLE, won silver.

Regional organisations have not been the only ones to recognise the publications’ excellence.

Belle WEDDINGS recently signed off an agreement with The New York Times to carry Martha Stewart content, exclusively – Caribbean Belle WEDDINGS is now the only publication from Trinidad and Tobago authorised to carry “Good Things From Martha Stewart.”

I began capturing images when I was just 7 years old, playing with my grandfather’s cameras. Over time, my passion for arts and photography grew, and in 2003 I founded Dmitri Markine Photography here in Toronto, Canada. Since then, my work has been featured in countless magazines, newspapers, books, and online publications. I’ve photographed celebrity weddings in Toronto, New York and Los Angeles; have sold images to private galleries, billion-dollar corporations and won more than 100 prestigious national and international awards. I have also taught photography seminars and coached hundreds of aspiring photographers around the Globe.
In 2009, I had the honors of being named one of the top 10 wedding photographers in Canada and over the years, my work has been featured in numerous magazines, with some even going as far as recognizing me as one of the best wedding photographers in the world.
